The Vantage Pro2 with two more sensors, solar radiation and UV. With the solar radiation sensor the console also calculates evapotranspiration (ET) — the water your crop uses — and the THSW index (temperature, humidity, sun and wind).
What it measures
- Everything the Vantage Pro2 measures: temperature and humidity, wind speed and direction, rain and barometric pressure
- Solar radiation, 0–1800 W/m², with the highs for the day, month and year
- UV index and daily UV dose, with an alarm for high UV
How it works
- Wireless to a colour touchscreen console up to 300 m away in open field; updates every 2.5 seconds; charts, records and up to 22 alarms.
- The console runs on mains power (230 V) and uploads to Davis WeatherLink over Wi-Fi. The current readings are free there; history and reports need a WeatherLink subscription, paid by card directly to Davis (about 4 USD a month per station).

- The mast is not included (a 32–44 mm pipe); a tripod and installation with training are available.
